• "Vehicle" refers to any car or automobile rented from us.
• "Rental Agreement" refers to the contract between the Company and Customer.
• "Services" refers to car rental and related services provided by the Company.

To be eligible for our services, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Hold a valid driving license for minimum 1 year
• Provide valid identification and address proof
• Have a valid credit/debit card for security deposit
• Meet our creditworthiness and driving record standards

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet these requirements.

4.1 Booking Process: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by AJ Car Rentals. We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion.

4.2 Pricing: All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice.

4.3 Payment: A minimum advance payment is required to confirm bookings. The remaining balance must be settled before or at the time of vehicle delivery.

4.4 Confirmation: Booking confirmation will be sent via email or SMS. Please ensure all details are correct.

5.1 Authorized Use: The vehicle may only be used for lawful purposes and normal passenger transportation.

5.2 Prohibited Uses: The following are strictly prohibited:

• Racing, speed contests, or driving instruction
• Towing or pushing anything
• Transporting hazardous materials
• Off-road driving
• Commercial use without prior approval
• Using the vehicle while under influence of alcohol or drugs

5.3 Geographic Restrictions: While we generally allow travel within India, certain high-risk areas may be restricted. Please inform us of your travel plans.

As a customer, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information during booking
• Inspecting the vehicle before taking possession
• Reporting any pre-existing damages immediately
• Following all traffic laws and regulations
• Keeping the vehicle secure and locked when unattended
• Returning the vehicle in the same condition as received
• Paying for fuel, tolls, parking, and traffic violations
• Reporting accidents or breakdowns immediately

7.1 Insurance Coverage: All vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance. However, customers are liable for deductibles and damages not covered by insurance.

7.2 Customer Liability: You are liable for:

• Damage to the vehicle beyond normal wear and tear
• Theft of the vehicle or its accessories
• Traffic violations and fines incurred during rental period
• Loss of keys or documents
• Damages due to negligent or prohibited use

7.3 Third Party Claims: You are responsible for all third-party claims arising from your use of the vehicle.

8.1 Security Deposit: A security deposit is required and will be held until the vehicle is returned and inspected.

8.2 Additional Charges: You authorize us to charge your payment method for:

• Additional rental days
• Damages or repairs
• Traffic violations and fines
• Cleaning charges
• Fuel charges
• Late return fees

8.3 Refunds: Security deposits will be refunded within 7-10 business days after vehicle return, subject to deductions for damages, violations, or additional charges.

9.1 Customer Cancellation: Cancellation charges apply as per our cancellation policy. Refunds will be processed according to the timing of cancellation.

9.2 Company Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to vehicle unavailability, maintenance issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. Full refund will be provided in such cases.

9.3 Modifications: Booking modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected is used solely for providing our services and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or for processing payments and insurance claims.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AJ Car Rentals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, incurred by you or any third party.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the rental services.

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or pandemics.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kanniyakumari, Tamil Nadu, India.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
